About
Brendan Germain is an actor and writer currently based in New York City. A seasoned theatre, cabaret and drag performer, his work has been seen at staple institutions such as La Mama, The Ethel Barrymore, The Brick, The Wild Project, and many others. He worked as a script writer/editor for multiple production companies in Los Angeles after graduating from Syracuse University and has performed all over the world from San Francisco to Miami to Paris and London.
On the writing side, he recently completed a workshop of his new play, The Cuntry Club, at The Tank Theater in Manhattan with grant support from the Brooklyn Arts Council and has also received grants to support his work from Columbia University, The Leslie Lohman Museum and The LGBTQ Center of New York City. Another play of his, Contempt, was taken to London for the International Scritches Festival.
He is commercially represented by Tom LaSala at Bella Agency (NYC/LA) and has worked with corporate brands such as Kiehl’s and Logo.
